demonstration of how ODL techniques can be integrated in social education.
They have been, in the main, developed by non IT experts but specialists
in the vocational or social area. The development of the courseware has
not only been to the benefit of the learners, but also to the benefit
of the trainers as additional IT skills are developed when the platform
